The Correll Family had a dream. In 1996 that dream was to open a Family Fun Recreation Complex on their 92 acres of beautiful farmland, to own and operate the facility, and to make the company grow and prosper as the years go on, in hopes that some-day, the children and grandchildren will one day run the business. Fast- forward to 2015, 17 business years later, Apple Blossom Village was still up and running, and all family members were in some way involved in the ever-changing business.
Apple Blossom Village was a unique venue with many recreational opportunities including a petting farm, equestrian, kids’ parties, summer camps, paintball, restaurant and pizza, outdoor weddings, BBQ, festivals and events, and farming. The property allowed kids to experience the classic farmyard animals they learn about in school up close. The property had a fun indoor play place complete with slippery slides, tubes to hide in, bouncy trampolines, and an adventurous rope climb. Also indoors was a carousel and Ferris wheel. Overall, it was a fun and sweet experience for everyone in the family within the nature of Mount Bethel, PA.
With an ever-changing economy and marketplace, Apple Blossom Village closed its doors in 2016. Fast forward to 2020, and the dream has transitioned to build the property into a brewery, restaurant and catering facility, and local market. A unique property with a family dedicated to offering an excellent experience at the brewery and restaurant for the local community, as well as a destination location for those from afar is now about to open its doors again in 2021. Cheers to the Correll family for launching what is now Allegheny Creek Brewing Company.
